01The challenge
Leaving a house empty for long periods increases the risk of break-ins, even with alarms or surveillance.
The most effective prevention is making it look occupied, which isn't always possible.
02The solution
We developed a presence simulator made up of devices installed on lights and appliances, wirelessly connected to a central controller.
The system switches devices on and off randomly to recreate the activity of an occupied home, and lets users control them from an app.
03The result
The home looks occupied even when no one is there and, in addition, the owner gets a smart home with remote control of lights and devices.
